Absolutely Anything Is Possible!
Testimonials
A MUST for every person!
This book is a MUST for every person. It helps you to gauge where you are in your walk in this life and helps you to chronicle your wants, needs, assets, personal and financial information, and desires very simply and directly. Putting things down on paper helps you plan and see the bigger picture, but more importantly, it will an immense help to your family in the event of your death. I recommend it highly. I give it as gifts and ask the recipients to purchase and give a copy to someone else to express their appreciation, if they so desire. EVERY ONE should have a copy...taking the time and care to fill in the necessary information. It will make things easier for your family when you leave this life. You will benefit from it during your lifetime also, because it provides a quick and handy reference (and access) to important information that is crucial to living and dying.

Amazing Blessing
This book was the most incredible blessing when we lost a loved one recently. The time of a death, there are so many emotions, and so many decisions to make -- the guidance of this book, filled in in advance, is an amazing blueprint to make that transitional time early in grieving so much easier. Not only does it offer a place to record vital information about insurance policies, bills, assets, safe deposit boxes, etc -- but it also includes places to write to those you love, write stories you remember of your parents, write accounts of your children's early days.
So, you see, it creates not only a black and white fact organizer, but a flesh and blood gift of the heart to those left behind. Invaluable.

Be Prepared with a Smile!
This is the most incredible book! It helps one to prepare to leave this world. In a time of grieving, family and friends won't want to wonder what your wishes are ...they will know! The book contains everything from where you hid those "special" papers to the words you would like spoken at your final service... OR even if you want a service. It has lots of room for you to fill out your thoughts and wishes to your family and friends. There is a section that allows you to express your hopes and dreams for your children. One of the most moving things in the book was: "IF you were told you had thirty minutes to live, who would you call and what would you say?" It makes you think about the things in life that go unsaid. It helps to make closure easier. I gave this book to my friends for the holidays. It may sound a bit odd, but after reading the wonderful quotes, the ease of filling in the blanks and knowing that you are making your "leaving" easier ~ it was a much appreciated gift. Don't hesitate to get your life in order... the clock is ticking. :-) Thank you Lynn for a WONDERFUL insightful book!

Thinking Ahead!
I saw this book at my brother-in-law's and was impressed with his foresightedness. We all put off thinking about our own demise, but filling out the information in this book is the right thing to do.
It has fill-in-the-blank forms to capture all sorts of information for your family or whoever has to handle your affairs after you go. Think about the basics (real estate, insurance, investments), but also think about the many details that right now are only in your head.
I particularly liked the Hiding Places section. That covers where you tucked the special jewelry, how to get the safe combination and other nitty gritty details.
Some possessions may be special to you, but others don't know the story behind the items. The book has space to list those and the meaning, so your heirs won't chuck out precious family momentos.
There's a place to list special dates and to write what you want in your obituary. It encourages you to write a letter to your child and place it in the book for them to read after your death.
Really this is a book that every family should have on hand (and filled out). Give your spouse or family the facts and feelings to better cope with a trying time.

Everyone Should Have One!
"In the Checklist of Life" was a book that I found to be indispensible. In retrospect, after losing someone close to you, you realize how important this book really is. I have always joked with my family about writing my own obituary, and here is my very own chapter in which to do just that. The chapter about your pets is one that should not be missed for all pet lovers. This book is smart, it's funny, it makes you think, it makes you cry. Be kind to your family and fill in the pages of this wonderful book. They will forever be thankful.

Invaluable Information!
After losing my mother in April, I realized just how much more difficult it would have been had I not had this book. She spelled out everything I needed to know to fullfill her wishes and to make the process easier for me. EVERYONE, no matter the age, should have their own copy to assist their family once they are gone. It's a peaceful feeling knowing you've taken care of your family member exactly the way they would have liked.

With Appreciation
I just wanted to drop a note and let you know how much I appreciate your book. As I was filling it in, I received a great peace from it. My husband and I are in our early 50's and have planned well. Since we work together every day, we must  leave things prepared for the children. I even listed the credit cards and now would know where to call if my purse was lost or stolen.
Thank you for your wisdom in composing this book and may it help many others as it has me.
May God Bless you and yours,
--R.H.

My Good Father
I found this book on my Daddy's desk last week when he died. Without it we would have been utterly LOST. I came up here to purchase this book for my desk - it was indispensible, and once again my GOOD Father has shown me the RIGHT way to help loved ones.

A Wonderful Legacy
Your book is great! My mother just died 3 weeks ago and left us her wishes in this book as a wonderful legacy.
She also purchased copies for us. My sister and I are anxious to update our info in the book.
Thank you
for this wonderful book, and by the way...mom didn't have a septic tank but she did indicate where the water main shut-off valve was!

Very Clear, Often Funny, and Much Needed Gift
I just finished watching your program on tv. I was completely engrossed by the
remarkable stories that you told not only about your life but from people that have
shared their stories with you. I think filling out your book is an excellent project
for me and my family to work on. I recently lost my aunt, my mother's sister,
and watched as my mother had to deal with her belongings and insurance policies.
It was at that time that I realized that I didn't have a clue what my 78 year old mother
would want if she passed before me. So with that in mind, I wanted to write and thank you
for that very clear, often funny, and much needed gift I got from your program on
public television.I saw on your website that you are working on another book and I am
looking forward to reading it! The way you presented the information gives people the
permission to talk openly and that's what my family needs.
I am as I write this about to order the book from your website.
